Homes Sales Increase in October: The Indiana Association of Realtors is reporting a 16 percent increase in the number of closed home sales last month, compared to October 2010. The IAR also says the average price of homes sold throughout the state dropped slightly. Chief Executive Officer Karl Berron says local housing markets are making steady progress, although "it may not be as quickly as we'd like."
